Dan is an undefeated professional mma fighter with all finishes and has had success internationally when he was invited to UAE warriors in Abu Dhabi.

Dan has competed at the highest levels and won titles in various other combat disciplines such as boxing, k1 and bjj. We look forward him sharing his knowledge with the students

Liam Etebar

Muay Thai and MMA Coach

Liam is a highly successful professional MMA and Muay Thai fighter with over 20 years of experience, as well as holding a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Having made his professional MMA debut at the tender age of 15 and being undefeated since then he has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience within the sport. 

Liam has found success in regional shows where he has won many titles. He has victories on the bigger UK shows such as UCMMA as well as being signed to fight on Bellator before an injury forced the cancellation of the bout.

Liam has trained at some of the biggest gyms in the country as well as being invited out to do training camps at the world famous Mikes Gym in the Netherlands.

Alex is a Brazilian Jiujitsu Black belt and professional grappler and undefeated amateur MMA fighter with over 10 Years experience training and competing at the highest level
 
Alex has also trained all over the world spending a long period of time living and training in Rio Brazil. 
 
Alex and Novo BJJ represents the world famous Checkmat Brazilian jiujitsu team 
 
Alex is a active competitor and has not only competed in most of the biggest and prestigious competitions in Europe but he has also fought on some of the best professional grappling shows in the UK such as Polaris invitational qualifiers, battle grapple and the Tuff invitational.

Lucy Turner

Womens Coach

Lucy started training Muay Thai 5 years and instantly fell in love with the sport.
 
During this time, Lucy has been training and competing all over the world. Training out of Kenshiro Muay Thai in Brighton, and also spent 1 year in Thailand at 7 Muay Thai Gym in Rayong.
 
Lucy has competed at both professional and ametuer level, including 6 fights in Thailand. This included representing the UK at the World Muay Thai Championships in Pattaya in 2019 where she won the title at 60kg.
 
Lucy is looking forward to teaching woman’s Muay Thai classes and passing on everything she has learnt over the last 5 years.

River O’Callaghan

Junior Coach

River is a BJJ Brown belt and Active Amateur MMA Fighter. He has competed at many elite events in grappling such as Battle Grapple, ADCC London and NAGA Europe. In MMA he has had success on some of the bigger UK shows including UCMMA and Cage Warriors Academy.

He’s an experienced teacher, who has extensive experience in teaching children the art of BJJ and Grappling.
